Dining on Ritz-Carlton Evrima: Our Favorite Restaurants, Memorable Dishes & Insider Tips

One of my biggest concerns before sailing on Ritz Carlton’s yacht Evrima wasn’t the itinerary—it was the food.

Luxury cruise lines love to promise “world-class dining,” but after enough vacations, you learn that those words can mean anything from genuinely memorable meals. . .to an expensive buffet with white tablecloths. We’ve stayed at multiple Ritz Carlton hotels, so we were feeling pretty confident that dining on Ritz Carlton Evrima would fall into the first category.

My husband, Mark, cheerfully tells people we’re “food snobs.” I immediately jump in to clarify yes, BUT— we’re actually very nice food snobs.

We have a high bar for food. We have an equally high bar for service. Fortunately, Evrima clears both with ease. We came aboard hoping for good food. We left planning how we could re-create some of those delicious dishes at home..

If you’re wondering which restaurants are worth prioritizing—or simply what we’d happily order again—here’s our honest guide.

Evrima Room

In the evening, the double glass doors open, and the sounds of jazzy piano mingled with the hum of conversation and occasional laughter filter towards you from a expansive room. Table seating looks intimate and conversational, with banquets breaking up the space and creating more of a sophisticated, residential dining room atmosphere. Large windows are spaced the entire length, down the right side, offering tantalizing sea views.

When you open it up, the menu has two main sections. Down the left side are “The Classics” described as “simply prepared, always available.” On the right side you have “Regionally Inspired – Created to complement Evrima destinations” This side changes every three days, and features dishes and ingredients unique to your specific sailing destinations.

On the classics side, be sure to try the wedge and Caesar salads. Also, that Loch Duart salmon fillet is not to be missed.

We were seated near three-Michelin-starred chef Sven Elverfeld one evening, and that was his entree of choice. So you don’t have to just take Mark’s word for it.

Since we were sailing between France, Italy, and Monaco, a lot of the offerings were traditional regional dishes with a gourmet spin, like duck a l’orange, or the hearty Tuscan cacciucco: a tomato-based soup with clam, mussels, squid, peppeoncini, fennel, and basil – with a slender piece of focaccia for dipping.

Remember it’s all included, and be sure to save room for dessert. This menu also has some consistent items, like the Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection Cake: a layered indulgence of dark Valrhona chocolate, Grand Marnier, and candied orange peel garnish. There are also rotating items, like the Green Apple & Pistachio Vacherin: a fluffy vanilla espuma housing a scoop of apple sorbet, with pistachio sorbet on the bottom, a paper-thin crisp between and mini meringue bites stacked on top.

If you don’t think you can manage all of that, don’t worry – just get the carousel of single-bite delights.

In addition to dinner, Evrima Room serves up “a la minute” breakfast options, fresh pastries, and hot entrees. For lunch, they offer seasonal regional plates and lighter fare.

Mistral

New for 2026, renowned Italian porcelain company Ginori 1735 teamed up with Ritz Carlton Yacht Collection on the design of “The Ginori Terrace.” Bright and airy on the inside, literally airy on the outside terrace and bar seating, Mistral on board Evrima is a beautiful place to dine. And those pink striped umbrellas just reach out and command you to spend a meal here.

In addition to the umbrellas, Ginori has designed the table settings. And I am so obsessed with the cheerful nautical theme, I’m thinking seriously about buying a lake house to furnish en theme. Just kidding. But I really might pick up a set of the espresso cups and saucers. You can’t have too many cute little espresso cups.

Dinner fare here leans into Mediterranean cuisine, and the menu changes every three days, with the exception of the “Simply Prepared” section, which has similar offerings to Evrima Room. The left side of the menu features “Fresh & Light” appetizers, Salads, and Entrees. The right side is dedicated to “From the Grill” items and accompanying sides and sauces.

While Mark wasn’t the biggest fan of the restaurant’s signature Maine lobster pasta, I decimated the gnocchi creme e pistacchio. They also had a vegan and gluten free zucchini noodle pasta with a truffle (cashew) cream sauce that was light enough to have me feeling less guilty about ordering the chocolate torte for dessert, but creamy enough to satisfy a traditional heavy cream sauce lover.

Is it strange to say we made repeat visits to eat off those pretty plates?

The al fresco dining, fresh seafood, home made pastas, and the nicest server, Gede, were also big draws for return trips to Mistral.

Lunch service here is more in line with the “yacht casual” vibe, featuring fresh seafood, grilled prime cuts, and vibrant salads. As the sun sets, guests are treated to a more romantic atmosphere by the water.

Talaat Nam

Located on the same Deck 6 as our suite, Talaat Nam was an easy walk directly across the ship. knowing they also have a section for outdoor dining, we requested to sit outside and maximize our time in that warm, slightly breezy air off the port in Livorno, Italy.

Being whisked through the restaurant towards the terrace, I got only the quickest impression:

Cool dark woods.
Pale blue upholstery.
Table tops anchoring the room with charcoal glassware and modern, simply shaped plates.
Sushi chefs quietly working behind the counter.
Floor to ceiling windows drawing us towards the aft deck, where we scored a prime table hugging the railing.

If you’re concerned about the quality of sushi on this yacht, let me reassure you: it’s fresh and beautifully prepared.

Advertised as serving “contemporary Southeast Asian dishes” Talaat Nam’s menu features bright, sometimes fiery flavors in à la carte dishes like spring rolls, Korean bibimbap, ramen, and curries. The sushi bar turns some of the prettiest sushi we’ve ever been served.

Chef came out to inquire about our experience, and we were so stuffed and happy, I don’t even know if our praise was coherent.

Talaat Nam is open for dinner and I believe lunch, on specific days.

Pool House

If there’s anything better after a long morning sightseeing than an Aperol Spritz and delicious food by a sparkling pool, I haven’t heard of it. The combination of sunshine, warm sea breezes, friendly attentive service, damn delicious food, and unending wine pours cemented The Pool House as our go-to midday meal spot.

Tableside fresh-made guacamole, served up with crispy tortilla strips.
Crispy parmesan shrimp with a crave-worthy grilled lemon and basil aioli.
Truffle fries.
The Pool House cheesesteak with tender ribeye, melty provolone, and onions on a hoagie.
EFC Buttermilk fried chicken burger with perfectly spiced crispy chicken, melted cheddar, fresh Romaine and tangy mayo on a toasted potato bun.
Pulled Lechón Aside birria tacos with crunchy apple and red cabbage slaw.
Moroccan spiced cauliflower salad I could dive into daily, between the sumac seasoning, fresh apple sticks, pops of pomegranate, and tahini dressing.

I suppose you could call the menu style “globally influenced” —we just thought everything was a feast for the senses.

I believe The Pool House is open all day and late into the night.

The Living Room: A Quiet Pause Between Adventures

Since we were loving the serenity and outdoor terrace space of our suite, we didn’t spend a lot of time lounging in the lounge areas. The Living Room is located on Deck 4, the same area where guests come and go from the ship for port excursions. For early mornings waiting on the tender (small boat) to take us to shore, Mark grabbed us a couple of fresh-brewed coffees and (as if I needed it) a little chocolate croissant. For our two evening excursions, we enjoyed the live band ensemble and a glass of champagne while again, waiting for the tender.

Similar to Evrima room, the wide expanse of the Living room is broken up into small conversational seating areas. Plush accent pillows lend pops of color and combined with decorative art displays and fresh flowers on sleek coffee tables, the room feels very much like its namesake homey space.

The Non-Restaurant Option: In-Suite Dining

We loved breakfast in our Terrace Suite so much that I wrote an entire guide to the experience here.

Not only is coffee on your private terrace a lovely quiet sort of morning ritual. Breakfast in-suite allowed us to also be getting dressed and ready for our day of exploring and excursions.

In-suite dining is available 24/7, and is included with your fare.

Our Top 10 Favorite Things We Ate

10. Harissa Spiced Snapper (Evrima Room). Perfectly cooked snapper, perfect spice level. New use for harissa seasoning unlocked.

9. Spring Rolls (Talaat Nam). I get spring rolls like Mark gets French Fries: everywhere. These stood out for their light wraps + crunchy, flavorful veggies.

8. Burrata di Bufala & Panzanella (Evrima Room). Chianti vinagrette, heirloom tomatoes, grilled peaches, sourdough croutons. Summer in every bite.

7. Moroccan Spiced Cauliflower Salad (The Pool House). Enough kale to feel healthy. Enough flavor to keep you diving in.

6. Panisse Monegasque (Mistral). Traditional crispy chickpea fritters from Monaco, served up with lemon aioli. Addictive.

5. Gnocchi Crema e Pistacchio (Mistral). White wine cream sauce rounded out with bright basil and earthy gorgonzola. I was reluctant to share even one pillowy bite.

4. Citrus Marinated Zucchini Carpaccio (Evrima Room). Actively working on re-creating this. Bright, light, and fresh.

3. Crispy Parmesan Shrimp (The Pool House). The menu changed and this wasn’t on, but it was so good we asked if they could do it (and they did).

2. Loch Duart Salmon Filet (Evrima Room). Mark would have ordered twice, but got tempted by the off-menu Dover sole

1. Green Apple & Pistachio Vacherin (Evrima Room). So light, such interesting flavors and textures all working together. We ordered it twice and ate it ALL even though we were stuffed.

Ritz-Carlton Evrima Dining Tips & FAQ

Should you make reservations before boarding?

No. Reservations open once you’re on board, and your suite ambassadors will recommend heading down to Deck 4 and making them soon after embarkation. There are multiple crew members with tablets who will walk you through the restaurants and help you decide which to book and when. You can also share dietary preferences at this time. If you want to make changes at any time, you can do so in the app (which the crew can also help you set up at this time).

Reservations are required for S.E.A. and recommended for Talaat Nam and Mistral. . .but booking reservations for your voyage on day 1 helps the crew plan. And you can always make changes in the app.

Which restaurant would we prioritize?

This is a tie for us. Mistral, for its beautiful tableware, outside terrace seating, and Mediterranean menu. For consistently excellent meals and elevated atmosphere, Evrima Room was our favorite.

Can you eat at the same restaurant more than once?

Yes, and menus change every three days. So keep track of your favorite foodie experiences.

Is all of the food included?

All dining venues with the exception of S.E.A. are included in your fare, though some specialty liquors are an additional charge, and will be noted on menus.

What’s the dress code?

From Ritz-Carlton: The dress code on board the yacht reflects the luxury lifestyle of The Ritz-Carlton and casual freedom of a yachting vacation. During the day for breakfast and lunch, the dress code is Yacht Casual, wherein shirts, shoes, and bathing suit cover-ups are required when not at the pool.

During the evening, for dinner, bathing suits and sleeveless t-shirts are not permitted, and shirts and shoes are required throughout the yacht. When dining in The Evrima Room, Talaat Nam and S.E.A. the dress code is Yacht Sophisticated — meaning collared shirts are not required, but highly recommended. Ball caps, hats, shorts, and flip-flops are not permitted during dinner service. There are no formal nights on board.

From Veronica & Mark: Dress Up for Dinner. It’s fun, and you can never be over dressed. (But you can be under-dressed, and no one wants to be that person. Especially in this crowd.)

How often do the menus change?

All restaurant menus have a selection that stays the same, and a selection that changes. The rotational menu options change every three days, which means even repeat restaurant visits can feel like a new experience.

Is it worth repeating restaurants?

Absolutely. Menus rotate every three days, so repeat visits rarely feel repetitive.

Final Thoughts: Dining Is Part of the Journey

One of the things that surprised us most about dining on Ritz-Carlton Evrima wasn’t simply how good the food was—it was how naturally each restaurant became part of the rhythm of our days.

Breakfast on our terrace before heading ashore. A leisurely lunch at the Pool House after an afternoon exploring a new port. Sushi on a warm evening in Livorno. Lingering over dessert in Evrima Room because neither of us was quite ready for the night to end.

Luxury travel should create memories that last long after you’ve unpacked your suitcase, and for us, many of those memories happened around the table. We’d happily return to every restaurant we visited—and yes, I’d absolutely order that pistachio gnocchi again.

If you’re planning your own voyage aboard Evrima, I hope this guide helps you decide where to dine first.

And in case no one has told you: vacation calories don’t count. So enjoy every bite.
